Getting Started

Set up FaceCommand in 60 seconds

Download and install

Run the installer. FaceCommand installs like any standard Windows application.

Connect your webcam

Any USB or built-in webcam works. Make sure it's pointed at your face and your face is well-lit.

Launch and calibrate

Open FaceCommand. It auto-calibrates to your face in about 3 seconds. You'll see a live preview showing detected gestures.

Customize

Use the sliders to adjust gesture mappings, sensitivity, hold times, deadzones, and trigger modes. Set up Gesture Chains or Morse Chains for expanded commands. The defaults work well for most users as a starting point.

Export your profile

Once you've dialed in your settings, export your profile so you can back it up or transfer it to another installation.

System Requirements

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • Any USB or built-in webcam (720p minimum recommended)
  • Intel i5 or equivalent processor (or better)
  • 4 GB RAM minimum
  • No internet connection required after activation

Tips for Best Results

  • Good lighting makes a noticeable difference. Face the light, don't sit with it behind you
  • Start with a few gestures and expand. Don't map everything at once
  • If a gesture misfires, raise its trigger threshold first before adjusting other settings
  • Use Gesture Chains for critical commands to eliminate accidental triggers
